WHAT WE DO

We are Hypoport B.V.,  a fintech company making software for financial institutions, specific for secured funding and Asset Backed Security (ABS) transactions. These transactions require advanced reporting capabilities that we provide since 2002. 

Covered Bond transactions (Pfandbriefe in Germany) are a form of secured funding, albeit on-balance, and seen as an extremely safe investment class. ABS transactions have the power to transform illiquid markets (mortgages, SME loans, etc) to highly investable products with high credit ratings. Due to the complex nature of the transactions there are strict regulatory requirements in place to  advance the market and protect investors, the banking system,  and the economy.   

Our Amsterdam team specializes in providing financial technology (PRoMMiSe®) and consultancy services that allow issuers and company administrators to structure, administer, monitor, and report on the transactions and underlying exposures.

OUR CULTURE

We work with smart, social, and ambitious people who enjoy developing themselves and are dedicated to the team, the organisation, the product, and the customer. We do this by growing steadily for more than 20 years, offering flexibility when needed, focusing on everyone’s development and through good terms of employment. There are many employees who joined more than 10-15 years ago after their internship and are still working with us. The more senior employees transfer their knowledge to the newer and less experienced colleagues, a healthy dynamic that fosters cooperation and pleases all. We work according to Holacracy principles, a form of self-organisation that works for our flat organisation. Besides all the work, we also like to invest in fun activities to build a strong team and get to know each other better. For instance, we have lunch together at the office at 12:00 and have regular Friday afternoon drinks. We are a sporty and competitive organisation. We regularly take part in padel tournaments, have a few fanatical table tennis players, and some participate in obstacle runs in the mud. Welcome to join… but no pressure!
